Penn College dental hygiene alumni reunite while attending a recent continuing education course offered by the college's Student American Dental Hygienits' Association chapter.
Eighty-four Penn College dental hygiene alumni and 20 students were among those attending a recent continuing education event hosted by Penn College’s Student Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Adjunct faculty member and alumna Barbara K. Emert-Strouse presented a course titled “Local Anesthesia Review for the Dental Hygienist.”
The seminar, which attracted 137 participants, served as a fundraiser for SADHA. Attendees were awarded continuing education credits. Registered dental hygienists in Pennsylvania are required to complete 20 credits every two years.
