Thursday, May 22, 2025

Penn College Athletics’ Male and Female Athletes of the Year kick off the new “WildCast” – a podcast giving listeners an all-access pass to the stories, struggles and successes of Wildcat student-athletes, their coaches and administrators.

In the first episode, Livingston Cross (men’s basketball) and Megan Kurian (women’s soccer) sit down for a 30-minute conversation with Matt Blymier, assistant director of athletics for compliance and athletic communications. The standout student-athletes share their unique journeys to the college, the impact of their coaches, and the importance of teamwork and friendship in their athletic careers. Cross and Kurian reflect on their experiences during the regular season and playoffs, discussing challenges, successes and personal growth. They also touch on their future aspirations and the recognition they received for their achievements.

With “WildCast,” fans can step beyond the sidelines and into the heart of Penn College Athletics. Each episode takes listeners behind the scenes with the athletes, coaches and administrators who make it all happen – on and off the field. From game-day prep to leadership decisions, from locker-room moments to long-term visions, the series offers real conversations and will give die-hard fans, proud alumni and passionate parents an inside look at what it truly means to be part of the Wildcat family.

“WildCast” episodes will drop every Thursday throughout the summer. Listeners are encouraged to subscribe and “Be Wild” with Penn College Athletics. Stay tuned for more on this energetic series.
