"Gloved and gowned" and ready to take on "surgery" is this crew of "Take Your Child to Work Day" participants.
The annual “Take Your Child to Work Day” at Penn College is always centered on exciting career-focused activities.
The Office of People & Culture invites employees to take part in the national celebration, and youngsters can job-shadow their parents or relatives and also take advantage of hands-on activities recommended for ages 10-14. This year’s lineup offered eye-opening experimentation in culinary, dental hygiene, nursing and surgical technology.
The day began with refreshments in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant and also featured lunch in Dauphin Hall’s Capitol Eatery.
'Dentist for a Day' and 'Make-and-Take Chex Mix' are among the engaging activities.
'The Nurse Experience' (left) and 'Surgical Sensation' employ virtual simulations.
