A free, public showing of a film about mental illness, hosted by Pennsylvania College of Technology Counseling Services, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, on the college’s main campus in Williamsport.
The 90-minute presentation, titled “Call Me Crazy,” will be screened at 7:30 p.m. in Penn’s Inn, on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center.
Several well-known actors are in the film – including Academy Award winners Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Hudson and Melissa Leo – which is produced by Jennifer Aniston. The film is made up of short pieces about five characters, each dealing with a different mental-health issue.
Staff from Counseling Services, who provide a range of free and confidential services to Penn College students, will be available for discussion.
More information about the film is available from the
JED Foundation, which promotes emotional wellness among college and university students.
