Career Services to deliver full slate of fall Recruitment Days

Well before the start of Fall 2023 classes, the Career Services staff was busily formulating a comprehensive lineup of major-specific networking opportunities for students and alumni.
All of the semester's Recruitment Days – which will put job-seekers in touch with employers hoping to fill part-time, full-time and internship positions in a variety of fields – will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The complete list of programs and locations, also available on Career Services' Events page, follows:
- Sept. 5: Aviation – Lumley Aviation Center, second floor
- Sept. 6: Automated manufacturing & machining and welding & metal fabrication – College Avenue Labs patio (rain location: welding lab)
- Sept. 7: Nursing – Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center mall, near Veterans' Fountain (rain location: ATHS atrium)
- Sept. 11: Automotive technology, collision repair and restoration – campus mall (rain location: Thompson Professional Development Center)
- Sept. 13: Building construction, civil engineering and surveying, construction management, and HVAC – campus mall (rain location: Carl Building Technologies Center hallway)
- Sept. 14: Architecture & sustainable design – campus mall (rain location: PDC)
- Sept. 19: Landscape/horticulture and forestry – Outside Schneebeli Earth Science Center (rain location: ESC lobby)
- Oct. 11: Diesel, heavy equipment and power generation – Outside ESC (rain location: diesel lab)
- Oct. 16: Surgical technology – ATHS mall, near Veterans' Fountain (rain location: ATHS atrium)
- Oct. 17: Electrical, electronics & computer engineering, engineering & industrial design, and information technology – campus mall (rain location: BTC hallway)
- Oct. 18: Plastics & polymer engineering technology – ATHS mall, near Veterans' Fountain (rain location: ATHS atrium)
Mark those calendars, too, for the Human Services & Restorative Justice Internship and Job Expo on Sept. 12. The Expo will run from 9 a.m. to noon, with employer spotlights from 1-3 p.m. (Employers will be outside the human services & restorative justice classrooms and in the BTC hallway.)
The Fall Career Fair will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 2-3 in Bardo Gymnasium and the Field House. A searchable directory of participating employers is available through Career Services.
