A "Meet the Artist" reception was held Thursday evening on the third floor of Madigan Library, where patrons gathered to learn more about Mikhail Gubin's arresting collages and sculptures –many formed from discarded materials. The gallery is open 1-4 p.m. Sundays; 2-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. It will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Nov. 25-29.
