Alicia is a graduate of Penn College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Restorative Justice. She has a genuine passion for working with young children and enjoys creating a fun, caring, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. Alicia is also a mother of three, which has given her an even greater appreciation for the importance of early childhood and the experiences that help shape young people. She has worked at the Children's Learning Center for over 7 years and has recently begun a new adventure working with school age children for the South Williamsport area school district. She is also a leader of a local Girl Scout troop! Her favorite things about working with young people are getting to watch their personalities grow, celebrate their accomplishments, keep them safe, and see the world through their eyes.
Outside of the classroom, Alicia loves spending time with her children, reading, and going on outdoor adventures! Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series. Her favorite quote is from Winnie the Pooh, "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
