Pennsylvania College of Technology, in conjunction with the Penn State University Athletic Conference, has announced the recipients of the Fall 2010 All-Academic Team award. The award is given to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the semester of competition. Of 95 student-athletes competing in the fall semester, 42 made the grade.

Katherine A. Walker, assistant professor of drafting and computer aided design at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently attained the credential of AutoCAD 2011 Certified Professional. Walker received the credential while attending Autodesk University 2010 in Las Vegas by passing the AutoCAD 2011 Certified Associate and Professional exams.

J.D. Mather, assistant professor of drafting and computer aided design at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was presented the Autodesk Manufacturing Community Achievement Award. The award was presented Nov. 30 during the Autodesk Manufacturing Keynote presentation at Autodesk University 2010 in Las Vegas.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Likeness of a Likeness," an exhibit by artist Mark Khaisman, Jan. 8 to Feb. 2. Khaisman's figurative images are classically rendered from carefully layered strips of translucent packing tape applied to backlit acrylic sheets.

Two Pennsylvania College of Technology administrators recently presented a session on faculty mentoring at the 36th annual conference for the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges. Joanna K.
