A forest technology student at Pennsylvania College of Technology has received a scholarship from a fund that memorializes a longtime regional leader in the lumber industry. Heather E. Hinshaw, of Cogan Station, received the $1,000 award from the Richard P. Lauchle Scholarship Fund administered by the Keystone Wood Products Association.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology Athletics Department has named Rafael Morais its new full-time men’s soccer coach starting in the 2014-15 academic year. The coaching position is the third to be moved to full-time status this year behind baseball and women’s soccer. Morais comes to Penn College with extensive collegiate and professional experience.
