Penn State President Graham B. Spanier's annual "State of the University Address" will be broadcast live via satellite to the Slate Run Room of Penn College's Professional Development Center at 3:30 p.m Friday. The address, delivered in the University's sesquicentennial year, will focus on the theme of "Building on Tradition to Chart the Future."

An original watercolor by the late David Armstrong, one of America's foremost realist painters, has been donated to Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Armstrong work "Stump Fence Row" was donated by Charline M. Pulizzi, a member of the Penn College Foundation Board since 1986. Pulizzi was a close friend of Armstrong's.
