Happy New Year. What a difference a year makes. One year ago, in place of this meeting, my message came to you as streaming video on the Web.

Greet the newest members of the Penn College community, welcomed Friday morning during the official start of the Spring 2005 semester.

A time capsule recently was sealed into a wall at Penn College's Klump Academic Center in preparation for this weekend's open house at the renovated facility.

Volunteer dentists and dental hygienists, assisted by students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Dental Hygiene Program, will offer free oral screenings, sealants and education for children ages 7-15 during "Sealant Saturday" on Feb. 5. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Art and its expanding presence across Pennsylvania College of Technology's campuses are celebrated in the January edition of the award-winning "Penn College & You" documentary television series. The new episode continues the series' exciting 10th season and coincides with the launch of a Web site that details the show's history, current topics, honors and programming notes.

School of Hospitality students from Pennsylvania College of Technology will travel to the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg on Jan. 10 to take part in seven cooking demonstrations on the Farm Show Complex's main floor. The students, along with Chef Michael A.
