Pennsylvania College of Technology's academic programs will be well-represented at the 2007 Pennsylvania Farm Show, with demonstrations and exhibits scheduled throughout the event in Harrisburg. Steven R. Parker, instructor of environmental technology in Penn College's School of Natural Resources Management, will conduct a session on "agroterrorism." The presentation is scheduled from 1-2 p.m.

Among the newest faculty members at Pennsylvania College of Technology are a half-dozen alumni who returned to the classroom during the just-ended Fall 2006 semester to share much of what they learned on the other side of the lectern. "It is very rewarding to see how many alumni are now employed at the college," said Barbara A. Danko, director of alumni relations.

Two more Pennsylvania College of Technology alumni have been state-certified as horticulturists on the basis of their performance in a recent four-part examination. Kurt M. Boyer, of Lebanon, and Karl F. Womer, of Bloomsburg both of whom recently graduated with associate degrees in landscape/nursery technology passed the Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist test.

Faculty from physician assistant programs in four states met Dec. 8-10 at Pennsylvania College of Technology to attend a seminar on "Implementing an Evidence-Based Medicine Curriculum Into Physician Assistant Training."
