This year's Homecoming competition raised an "astounding" $2,391.82 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Student Activities Office has announced. Crowned at Saturday's Homecoming Dance in Penn's Inn were Rose Street Apartments' Kim Erdman and Tyler Wetzel.
The next Medical Assistant class at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus, located three miles east of Wellsboro, is scheduled to begin in April. An information session is planned for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The session will allow participants to ask questions about applying to the program, employment opportunities and financial aid.

Penn College students and employees celebrated homecoming and supported a new scholarship fund at a donkey basketball game Thursday. All money raised from ticket sales went directly into the new Student Legacy Fund, which will serve as a scholarship program for student leaders at Penn College. This is the first student-established and student-run endowment program on campus.
A retired professor of horticulture will continue to help students succeed by establishing a new scholarship fund at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Richard J. Weilminster Scholarship Fund will generate awards for students in Penn College's landscape/nursery technology associate-degree major.
