A team of two-year construction students recently reinforced Pennsylvania College of Technology's historic presence at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla., placing third and keeping alive a streak of top-three finishes that goes back to 1999.

About 65 high school students attended NanoTrek Camp on the Penn College campus April 20.

Beginning with the Fall 2007 semester, electronic tuition bills (eBill) will replace paper bills for returning Pennsylvania College of Technology students. New students still will receive a printed bill, but returnees (and/or their designees) will access an online bill via the secure Student Information System.

Brian M. McKeon, assistant professor of biology, presented "Psychological Dialetheism" during the April 14 workshop at Binghamton University.

Sixteen Penn College students, faculty and staff the largest turnout this year for a Student Activities community-service project took part in a "Civility Saturday" event at the Lycoming County SPCA on Reach Road. The group performed maintenance and grounds work in the pet cemetery, washed the agency's vehicles, cleaned out and washed the ambulance, and power-washed the kennels.

The off-campus team took a 2-1 lead in the yearly Powder Puff Football series against the on-campus squad Sunday night on the Athletic Field.

The Student Nurses' Association was among the exhibitors at Sunday's "Clearly Kids Expo" at the YMCA Pickelner Arena. The group's colorful and well-attended booth focused on healthy eating habits for children and increased activity to promote a healthy lifestyle.
