The free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, in which Pennsylvania College of Technology students help local residents prepare income-tax returns, is taking its services "on the road" to the college's North Campus near Wellsboro. The program will be offered by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 28.

Pennsylvania College of Technology women's and men's basketball teams, as the Nos. 5 and 6 seeds, respectively, enter the Penn State University Athletic Conference playoffs with their work cut out.
