Pennsylvania College of Technology will soon have a synthetic turf field at the home of Wildcat Athletics. The new turf field system will be installed to NCAA standards to facilitate use by various athletic teams at the college. On Thursday, the Penn College Board of Directors authorized the college administration to borrow funds from reserves to move forward with the project.
A Wednesday night reception in Bardo Gymnasium recognized the Wildcat Club for its commitment to Penn College Athletics and the vital role it plays in keeping students in the game − athletically AND academically.
While early-season woes continued for the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s basketball teams, the college’s wrestlers continued to find success. Wrestling Competing on Friday and Saturday at the Messiah College Petrofes Invitational, the Wildcats finished ninth in a 15-team field with 68.5 points. Mount Union took the team title with 218 points.
