After back-to-back United East championships and trips to the NCAA Division III Championships the last two springs, Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s golf coach Rob Lytle knows the importance of fall-season preparation. “This is the most aggressive fall tournament schedule Penn College has ever seen. The only thing it’s going to do is make us better," the third-year coach said.

David Straub enters his second season as coach of the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s tennis teams with optimism, thanks to several key returning players and talented newcomers. The Wildcat men, 2-9 overall last year and 2-5 in the United East, open at 4 p.m. on Friday, hosting Lycoming College on the Brandon Park courts, while the women, 4-9 overall and 1-4 UE, open at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the first day of the King’s College Invitational.

With a United East Conference championship, five all-conference runners and the coach of the year, 2023 belonged to the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross-country team, the core of which returns this fall. Also, look for the women’s squad to make some noise this season. The Wildcats open at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, hosting Lycoming College.
