For the 17th year Wednesday, Penn College students and employees enjoyed "Pack the Park Night" with the Williamsport Crosscutters. Free tickets were available across campus and complimentary bus service transported students safely to and from BB&T Ballpark. Fans saw a 4-2 win by the hometown favorites, who posted a winning season in their division but fell just short of a playoff berth.

Following a national search, John D. Vandevere has been named director of athletics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, President Davie Jane Gilmour announced. “John brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in athletics,” Gilmour said.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Athletics Department has announced its 2016 Hall of Fame class: Greg J. Solyak, 2011, men's basketball; Tamara L. Pavlov, '11, women's cross-country; Craig S. Flint, '09, men's basketball/golf; and Bambi Hawkins, women's volleyball coach. The inductees will enter the Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 30, in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Scott E. Kennell, director of athletics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has announced his resignation in order to accept the director of athletics position at Madonna University in Michigan. Under Kennell’s guidance and leadership the past five years, Penn College moved to NCAA Division III affiliation and membership in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
