The 2017 welding & fabrication engineering technology graduate believes his latest position offers strong potential to meet that lofty objective. Corneliussen is the founding engineer for manufacturing at Reframe Systems, a company that aims to build attainable net-zero modular homes at massive scale.

A $25,000 donation from TC Energy's Build Strong social impact program will help with construction of a racecourse for Baja-type vehicles participating in an international event to be hosted in May at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The donation will also fund materials and equipment for the college's welding program.
In what has become a tradition, Pennsylvania College of Technology students lead the list of scholarship recipients from a national foundation devoted to skilled manufacturing careers. Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, the charitable foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, awarded the scholarships – each worth up to $2,500 – to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a certificate or degree program leading to a manufacturing career.
Pennsylvania College of Technology is providing career pathways for individuals who wish to safeguard critical aspects of society. The college is offering an associate degree and competency credentials in non-destructive testing. "When we started this program, we had numerous companies come and say, ‘We will hire everyone who graduates from this program. We’re just desperate for trained NDT inspectors,’” recalled Bradley M. Webb, dean of engineering technologies.
An ongoing partnership between Pennsylvania College of Technology and Miller Electric Mfg. LLC helps to ensure that students in the college’s welding and fabrication majors can continue to hone their skills on state-of-the-art equipment used throughout the welding industry.

Pennsylvania College of Technology students posted a one-two finish in the Project MFG Maritime Welding Competition held Wednesday at the Philadelphia Shipyard. Patrick C. Evanko, of Columbus, New Jersey, placed first, and Nikolas J. Harnish, of Newmanstown, earned second-place honors after competing against 18 other welding students from other institutions.
