Two teams of Penn College students and their faculty supporters are in Las Vegas this week for the National Association of Home Builders' Student Chapters Residential Construction Management Competition, sponsored by Centex and held in conjunction with the association's International Builders Show at Caesars Palace.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Residence Life Office announces its top students and programs for November/December. Resident Assistants of the Month Honored as Resident Assistants of the Month were second-year RAs Anthony R. Grubbs, of Irwin, from The Village at Penn College, and Alesha S. Frazier, of Tipton, from Campus View Apartments.

Gamma Epsilon Tau, a co-ed graphic communications and graphic design fraternity,welcomed seven new members on Dec. 9: Barbara Andreassen and Tim Miller (not pictured), Megan Pennington, Ashlyn Hershberger, Alison Beitz, Stacey Rupp and Chelsea Sanders. The new members each received an official membership certificate, along with a wallet card and fraternity T-shirt.

Career Services announces the launch of the Penn College Career Hub, which provides powerful searches to meet students' career-development needs. The online service (which also can be accessed by alumni and employers) provides easy access to job opportunities/postings, internships and cooperative experiences.

During The College Store's end-of-semester textbook buyback in December, students selling back textbooks were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite student organizations. Student clubs were encouraged to participate by decorating voting containers into which students could drop their voting chips.

Members of a recently formed student organization at Pennsylvania College of Technology and their adviser have provided Tioga County Prison with a new bookshelf packed full of educational materials. The students are members of the Collegiate Association for County Correctional Education.
