The Pennsylvania College of Technology physician assistant program won the 10th Annual Student Challenge Bowl, which was held by the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants during its state conference in Pittsburgh on Nov. 6. This highly competitive event features 10 teams from physician assistant programs in Pennsylvania. Each program sends a team of three students and one alternate.

Members of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Collegiate Association for County Correctional Education recently completed a library refurbishing project at the Clinton County Correctional Facility. The students donated 15 boxes of textbooks, with an estimated value of more than $2,000, and a bookshelf to the prison's library.

Students at Pennsylvania College of Technology will auction their works to benefit Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity during the School of Hospitality's annual Food Show and Chocolate House Auction on Dec. 4.

On this Veterans Day, PCToday honors the Pennsylvania College of Technology students, faculty and staff who have served (or continue to serve) the United States. "I can say that I am very proud to have served my country and I want to wish well to all those still serving," wrote one veteran, among scores of servicemen and women who sought inclusion on this voluntary honor roll.

Manufacturing engineering technology students David Blumenfeld and Matthew Cox presented the research they performed during a summer fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Maryland. Cox, of Selinsgrove, presented his research into 3-D printing, and Blumenfeld, of Lincroft, N.J.,presented research into creation and measurement of a five-axis part.

"I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," one of Off-Broadway's longest-running musicals, will be presented this month in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Klump Academic Center. A comedy that celebrates modern-day relationships exploring "the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands and wives" the series of related vignettes will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-14.

The Horticulture Club has donated another $300 to Penn College's Relay for Life team, the fourth consecutive year in which the student organization has contributed to the fight against cancer. Centered in the School of Natural Resources Management and co-advised by horticulture instructor Carl J.

Five radiography students at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently participated in a competition showcasing their curricular and technical knowledge. The five students were selected by their classmates to represent the Penn College Radiography Class of 2010 in a "technibowl" a quiz competition held at Penn State Milton S.

Students enrolled in the human services major at Pennsylvania College of Technology will host an event Nov. 4 to offer organizational help to caregivers and their loved ones. As part of the Service Learning in Sociology course, taught by LaRue R.

The Penn College student chapter of the American Welding Society recently toured the Shady Grove manufacturing facility of Manitowoc Cranes, thanks to company representatives Jacob Sensinger and Sammy Munuswamy. The students were able to see all aspects of the mobile crane manufacturer.
