Four students are employed by College Information and Community Relations, using their photographic and videography talents to help publicize Pennsylvania College of Technology people, programs and events.

Senior students in the culinary arts and systems major raced against the clock to create three dishes that would impress the judges during the first cooking challenge in their Culinary Competition and Skills Assessment course. Serving as judges were the Williamsport Country Club's Chef Christopher R.

The Information Technology Living-Learning Community in Dauphin Hall took part in a social bowling program with faculty at ABC Lanes on Tuesday. About 16 students and three faculty members attended the program and got to socialize with one another outside the classroom in friendly competition.

The free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is being provided again by Pennsylvania College of Technology students for individuals needing guidance in preparing their 2011 taxes. The VITA program is available through April 2 in the Teachers' Learning Center (Room 213) in the Madigan Library on the college's main campus in Williamsport. Sessions will be scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Collision repair students learned some inside tricks of the trade Thursday from two of the top auto restorers in the country. Nate and John Miller, of Buckeye Classic Car Restoration in Canfield, Ohio, visited College Avenue Labs in selfless support of a new generation of automotive restoration specialists.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Residence Life Office announces its " ... of the Month" honorees for January/February: RA of the Month Adam S. Feather, a building automation technology major from Bally, was selected as Resident Assistant of the Month.

This past weekend, members of Bucknell University's Army ROTC program which includes a number of Penn College students worked with the Susquehanna Council Boy Scouts of America to stage its annual Klondike Camporee at Camp Karoondinha in Millmont. Cadet James Graves worked closely with Ted August, scoutmaster of Mifflinburg's Troop 342, to plan and coordinate the event.

Camille S. Koroma, a pre-nursing major from Reading, has been chosen as the December/January "Student of the Month" by the Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The creative spirit of Pennsylvania College of Technology students and staff is again on display on campus this time in Dauphin Hall, the college's newest residence hall.

Bison Battalion ROTC, along with nine members of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps from Shikellamy High School, completed Combat Water Survival Training over the weekend to improve individual confidence levels, build unit cohesion and prepare cadets for continuing training. The event took place at the Bucknell University swimming pool from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday.
