Asesh K. Recently, Steven K. McCoy, coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Construction and Design Technologies, and Stacey C. Hampton, coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies, participated in the Frederick ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) College Fair held at the Bechtel Corp. in Frederick, Md.

A research article by Jeremiah C. Gee, assessment coordinator in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Integrated Studies, was published in the September/October 2007 issue of American Jails magazine, the official publication of the American Jail Association.

Abdul B. Pathan, professor of economics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented a paper at the 30th annual meeting of the Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology. The paper, "Use of Real World Events to Teach Principles of Economics," will be published in the conference proceedings. The event was held Oct. 25-26 in State College.

Two workshops recognizing Disability Awareness Month "Assistive Technology: Facilitating Access Inside and Outside of the Classroom" and "Facilitating Communication With Students Who Are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing"were held this week on campus.
