A priceless artifact and the story of one man’s survival against incredible odds have made a significant impact on students’ understanding of the Holocaust in a humanities course at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The yellow armband worn by the late Nandor Blau, a Jewish man forced into slave labor by the German army during World War II, has been loaned by the Blau family to William J.

On this Veterans Day, we salute the students, faculty and staff who have served (or continue to serve) their country. Members of the Pennsylvania College of Technology community are encouraged to honor with gratitude the military service of these co-workers and classmates, who are among those we recognize through this voluntary honor roll.

Brian M. McKeon Faculty member Brian M. McKeon returns to the Community Theatre League stage for “Boeing Boeing,” a classic farce by Marc Camoletti, opening this week at the 100 W. Third St. venue. The assistant professor of biology plays Robert, snared in a juggling act of lies involving his friend, Bernard, and the three stewardesses to whom he's engaged – all of them in town at the same time.

Michael R. Triassi has been named director of sales and restaurant operations at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Triassi, who among his duties will oversee Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry.

"Happy Halloween" from The College Store! With a variety of costumes ranging from police officer to leprechaun – and including a few denizens of "Duck Dynasty," arguably the most frightening Halloween presence of all! – The College Store staff (including two current students) showed its typical willingness to do whatever to takes to chase away any rainy-day blues.
