Applications will be accepted through Sept. 10 for Lead-PCT, an eight-week student leadership experience that provides participants the opportunity to learn different leadership skills and apply them by developing a social change project proposal that directly benefits the Penn College community.

Jodi F. Stiner, a part-time faculty member for Pennsylvania College of Technology’s physical therapist assistant program, recently received the Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist credential. Stiner completed a 32-hour course conducted by Neurorecovery Unlimited, in collaboration with the American Stroke Association, followed by an online competency examination.

Pennsylvania College of Technology is set to begin accepting students into its newest master’s degree offering – a Master of Science in Nursing, nursing education. The application for admission will open in January, with classes set to begin in Fall 2021.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently honored noteworthy staff, a part-time instructor, outstanding faculty in advisement and assessment of students, longtime employees, and those who retired during the 2019-20 academic year. Historically included in an all-college ceremony to end the spring semester, the honors were delayed this year and announced virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among the latest additions to the Pennsylvania College of Technology family are full-time faculty members for the Fall 2020 semester, as provided by the Human Resources Office (all effective Aug. 13). “Our new faculty present a wide range of experiences and skills,” said Joanna K.
