Hundreds of thousands of visitors will soon flock to the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center to celebrate the commonwealth’s leading industry, and Pennsylvania College of Technology students and employees will be on hand for an interactive peek into the real-world applications of “degrees that work.”

Tomorrow's leaders convened at Penn College on Wednesday, acting as delegates from across the country considering amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Audriana L. Empet has been named associate director of admissions at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Empet, of Corning, New York, comes to Penn College from Cornell University’s Center for Technology Licensing, Ithaca, New York, where she was employed as a communication and outreach officer and, prior to that, as a communication and event specialist. Pennsylvania College of Technology’s new brewing and fermentation science degree was highlighted at the Billtown Brewfest on Saturday. Held in downtown Williamsport at Midtown Landing, an area behind Trade and Transit Centre II, the festival featured 30 craft breweries offering tastings.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Wildcat Athletics teams will compete as full members of NCAA Division III when students return this fall. The NCAA Division III Management Council notified Penn College on Thursday that it has successfully completed the provisional membership process.

With backing from UGI Utilities Inc., Pennsylvania College of Technology is enhancing its commitment to the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) workforce.
