A series of business and management offerings, including four new classes, has been announced for the coming weeks by Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The classes will be held in the college’s Klump Academic Center, except “Managing Multiple Priorities,” which will meet in the Center for Business & Workforce Development.

Twenty-five Pennsylvania College of Technology students will trek to Louisville for the first week of May, where they will join the Churchill Downs culinary team in preparing food for more than 170,000 guests of the storied Kentucky Derby horse race.

Kacie L. Weaver, an applied human services student from Harrisburg, has been chosen as the March "Student of the Month" at Pennsylvania College of Technology. “Kacie is one of those people you meet in life and you’re immediately captivated by her aura of care. She’s the kind of person this world needs more of,” her nominator wrote.

Pennsylvania College of Technology offers a series of summer camps, many of them new this year, that reflect the unique career opportunities offered in its six academic schools. The registration deadline is June 3 (unless noted otherwise); 10 of the offerings are overnight, and three are day camps.
