Tina M. Evans, an associate professor of applied health studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will present this year’s David London My Last Words lecture. Before they headed back to elementary school, a group of children at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Dunham Children’s Learning Center got a hands-on taste of the technical world, exploring how things are made. Children tour the automated manufacturing lab, where Penn College students use industry-standard equipment to prepare them for careers in manufacturing engineering.

Tom Giannattasio has been fascinated with design since childhood, an interest led him to a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Penn College. After graduating in 2006, he worked as a software designer for the likes of Apple and Twitter before creating his own web-design tool, Macaw. Today, Giannattasio is director of product, design tools at InVision App in Washington, D.C.
