Bergerstock, whose 35-year career encompassed Pennsylvania College of Technology and its two predecessor institutions. Bergerstock, who died Friday, Aug. 13, at his Montoursville home, served in a variety of capacities from 1961 until his retirement in 1996.

A 64-hour Lean Six Sigma Green Belt apprenticeship program will be offered this fall through Workforce Development at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Participants will learn breakthrough process-improvement solutions using the Lean Six Sigma tool set and its five-phase DMAIC problem-solving methodology: define, measure, analyze, improve, control.
