One of the nation's largest homebuilders is expanding its partnership with Pennsylvania's premier technical college, Pennsylvania College of Technology. Debra M. Miller, director of corporate relations at Penn College, said Dallas-based Centex Homes recently provided the college with a gift of $25,000.

Four Penn College faculty members recently presented a continuing legal-education seminar on "Identity Theft" to members of the Lycoming Law Association. Rhonda L. Lanessa L. Satteson of Elimsport, a second-year student seeking an associate's degree in collision repair technology, has been chosen by the department faculty/staff as November's "Student of the Month." "Lanessa is an extremely hard-working individual in everything she tackles, be it academics or live labs," remarked instructor Stephen T. Duna.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, for Michael J. Dougher, 50, who passed away Oct. 27 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dougher was a recent graduate of the aviation maintenance technician program. The service will be heldin the East Main Street United Methodist Church, 507 E. Main St., Lock Haven.

Students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Occupational Therapy Assistant Club, along with faculty in the college's occupational therapy assistant major, gave of their time recently to help build a home in Avis. The group volunteered their efforts for a Habitat for Humanity project that will benefit an alumna of the occupational therapy assistant program.
