The College Store announces the introduction of a new class-ring program through a partnership with Jostens, the leading class-ring supplier in the country. The ring designs were chosen and approved by Penn College students and the Student Government Association. Class rings are available in two designs, for male or female graduates.

"Nuts and Bolts" is the theme for Alcohol Awareness Week 2006, Oct. 9-14 at Penn College, helping students learn about the effects and consequences of alcohol use and abuse through a variety of invaluable programs. Pennsylvania College of Technology's golf team completed its fourth straight unbeaten regular season Monday, topping a six-team field to end 23-0, and captured the Penn State University Athletic Conference regular season crown. The college's four-year win streak is now 123-0. Wildcat freshman T.C.

"Perspectives in Palliative Care," a conference for health-care professionals, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Field House on the main campus in Williamsport.

Lycoming Engines is continuing its long relationship with Pennsylvania College of Technology through the recent establishment of a new scholarship fund at the college. Lycoming Engines, a Textron company based in Williamsport, has established the Lycoming Engines Scholarship Fund to help students in Penn College's aviation technology majors.

Penn College's Ultimate Frisbee team, The Disc Jocks, finished in third place at the annual fall tournament held Saturday at Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. The team had a 4-1 record on the day, according to adviser Kirk M. Cantor, professor of plastics and polymer technology, including wins over teams from Bloomsburg and Lock Haven universities.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's "Mini-Indy" teams were rewarded at Sunday's awards ceremony for their hard work and preparation for this past weekend's 10th annual Susquehanna 500.
