Benjamin J. Campana, a plastics and polymer engineering technology student from Salladasburg, took on the venture as part of his senior project.

Students from 12 high schools triple the number on hand for last year's inaugural event gathered on campus Tuesday for the second annual Fuel Cell Challenge, piloting vehicles powered by the separation of water into hydrogen and oxygen.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology associate professor of mass communications recently earned honors for his work with an area National Public Radio affiliate. WVIA-FM and WVYA-FM host more than 100 hours of locally produced content each week. Among those contributing to local content is Brad L. Nason, who teaches courses in radio broadcasting at Penn College.

Penn College conducted Spring Commencement ceremoniesMay 16-17 at the Community Arts Center. A ceremony was held Friday afternoon for students in the schools of Construction and Design Technologies and Transportation Technology.

Pennsylvania College of Technology honored two faculty members with Distinguished Teaching Awards at Spring Commencement ceremonies held May 16-17 at the Community Arts Center, Williamsport. The college's highest level of recognition for a faculty member − the Veronica M. Muzic Master Teacher Award − was presented to Dr. William B. Urosevich, associate professor of biology/anatomy and physiology.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented a Distinguished Alumnus Award to Mel Tra and Alumnus/Alumna Achievement Awards to Jill E. Hoffines-Erb and Timothy E. Hess. The awards were presented during commencement ceremonies May 16-17 at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.

Fifteen Pennsylvania College of Technology students who plan to graduate during 2008 were presented with Penn College Awards during a banquet at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on Thursday. The 12th annual ceremony honored students who have made outstanding contributions to Penn College.
