On May 1, the Office of Student Engagement, with support from the Student Government Association, Campus Crusade for Christ, Penn College Diesel Performance Club, Service Technicians & Operators’ Association, and Penn College Rugby, hosted the annual Spring Semester Send-Off.

The event brought students together for an afternoon of celebration featuring a climbing wall, obstacle courses, inflatable jousting, spin art, Pelican’s SnoBalls, Clubhouse Concessions (a student-owned and student-run business), music by DJ Frankie and axe-throwing by the Hatchet House.

“Although rain made an appearance, it did little to dampen the spirit of the event, as students continued to sing, dance and enjoy the activities while keeping their energy high,” said Kyle W. Kern, associate director of student engagement.
