Tri-Alpha holds second induction ceremony

Members of the 2025-26 Penn College Alpha Alpha Alpha induction class gather in the Davie Jane Gilmour Center.

On April 11, the Penn College Lambda Xi Chapter of Alpha Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for first-generation college students, welcomed 35 students into its second class of inductees. Eligible students are full-time associate or bachelor’s degree candidates who have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Chapter officers for the 2026-27 academic year are Emmalee J. Preston, president; Oceahanna D. Haupt, vice president; Miles P. Carignan, treasurer; Madi S. Lengel, secretary; and Amy E. Sanchez, historian.

During the ceremony, the chapter also celebrated graduating members.

The 2025-26 inductees are:
