Business administration student Emma M. Luke, of Montoursville, networks with Joe Acla, general manager of The Forest Lake Club in Hawley during Professional Coffee & Conversation, an event provided by business administration students enrolled in the Event Management & Coordination class.

Seven students in the Event Management & Coordination class brought more than 20 organizations to the Field House on Tuesday for Professional Coffee & Conversation.

The event provided practical experience for the class, taught by Tammy M. Miller, associate professor of business administration/management/event management, and an opportunity for their peers in business and hospitality majors to network with professionals in their fields of study.

Managing Professional Coffee & Conversation entailed developing its scope and objectives, recruiting organizations to participate, coordinating with on-campus offices, advertising the event, and more.
