SGA Silent Auction set for Friday to benefit scholarship fund
Monday, March 30, 2026
The Student Government Association’s annual Silent Auction is set for Friday, April 3, with online bidding beginning at noon and concluding at 4 p.m.
The auction, organized by SGA, brings together Penn College students, employees and the community for a meaningful cause: supporting a scholarship fund for student leaders.
Auction items have been donated by campus offices and individuals, as well as local businesses. All proceeds directly support the Student Leader Legacy Scholarship, a fund established by SGA to recognize and assist deserving students. Each year, three students are selected to receive scholarships of $1,200 each. The awards are made possible entirely through those who contribute to the auction. This year, the goal is to raise $5,000 to continue expanding the scholarship fund’s support.
“This highly anticipated event serves not only as an opportunity to bid on a variety of unique items and experiences, but also as a way to give back and invest in the future of students,” said Jacob A. Krautheim, SGA’s vice president for external relations. “The impact of the SGA Silent Auction extends beyond the event itself. It fosters a sense of community, encourages student involvement and highlights the importance of supporting academic achievement. As the amount raised grows, so does the opportunity to make a lasting difference in students’ lives.”
Visit the Silent Auction website or Text SGA2026 to 44834 to participate. Winning bidders can pick up their items on campus until 8 p.m. Friday night or make arrangements with the Office of Student Engagement by emailing ose@pct.edu.
