‘Theatre Throwdown’ shines spotlight on wrestling

The Journey Bank Community Arts Center was the unique venue for the Penn College wrestling team’s dual meet against the York College Spartans. It’s the second time the wrestling team has competed at the historic theater.
During the nonconference meet, wins were posted by Kaden Ware, of Brooklyn, Connecticut, at 141 pounds with a major decision; TJ Martin, of Honesdale, at 149 with a technical fall; Carter Davis, of York, at 165 with a technical fall; Gavin Gomes, of Denville, New Jersey, at 174 with a major decision; and Cole Shupp, of Danville, at 184 with a decision.
