As part of Penn College’s “Your Class in 60 Seconds” video series, engineering design technology student Blaze M. King, of Howard, takes viewers inside the Design for Manufacturability class, where tomorrow makers explore real-world manufacturing methods like CNC machining, forging, casting, injection molding and additive manufacturing to learn how virtual designs become physical parts. “A key lesson? Just because you can design it, does not mean it can be made,” King says.
