Give Thanks, Paw it Forward: Lauren Peck

Wednesday, November 19, 2025

As part of Penn College's annual "Give Thanks, Paw It Forward" campaign, College Relations is amplifying the gratitude of students and alumni for their life-changing collegiate experiences.

Throughout this week, thank you notes are being written, social media posts are being shared, posters and digital displays are touting the celebration of appreciation all across Penn College’s campuses – and Penn College News is sharing daily messages of thanks.

Today, aviation maintenance technology student Lauren D. Peck shares her Penn College experience and how scholarship support has helped her design the career of her dreams.

“The generosity of donors has taken a huge weight off my shoulders, allowing me to fully focus on my education, excel as a student-athlete on the tennis team, and lessen my post-graduation debt,” the Air National Guard member said. “The support has allowed me to thrive and explore my passions and has prepared me for a future where I can hopefully contribute meaningfully to the aviation industry.”
