As part of Penn College's annual "Give Thanks, Paw It Forward" campaign, College Relations is amplifying the gratitude of students and alumni for their life-changing collegiate experiences.
Throughout this week, thank you notes are being written, social media posts are being shared, posters and digital displays are touting the celebration of appreciation all across Penn College’s campuses – and Penn College News is sharing daily messages of thanks.
Next up, Emily N. Dalawy, who completed her associate degree in physical therapist assistant in 2025, is thankful for the college’s new Physical Therapy Clinic.
“Getting exposure to real-world scenarios before even leaving the classroom will set our students up for success,” Dalawy said. “It will help them to feel more comfortable when they begin their clinical rotations, allowing them to focus more on the educational benefit that these locations provide. I want to thank Dr. (Davie Jane) Gilmour (president emeritus) for her monetary contribution. Thank you for taking the time to recognize our dream and make it a possibility, not only for the community and those in need, but for our students.”
