As part of Penn College's annual "Give Thanks, Paw It Forward" campaign, College Relations is amplifying the gratitude of students and alumni for their life-changing collegiate experiences.
Throughout this week, thank you notes are being written, social media posts are being shared, posters and digital displays are touting the celebration of appreciation all across Penn College’s campuses – and Penn College News is sharing daily messages of thanks: starting with Pillar Society members John and Janice Urick.
John '74 and Janice Urick
John is a 1974 graduate of Penn College predecessor Williamsport Area Community College. The college’s hands-on approach served John well, and now the Uricks’ intentional giving is empowering tomorrow's workforce.
“Penn College has had a great impact on my success, my son’s, three cousins’ and, most recently, my granddaughter’s,” John said. “With the benefits provided to our family in mind, we wanted to give back to the college in a more significant way and take our support to the next level.”
