The crowd goes "wild" as a runner crosses home plate in a Wildcat Wars kickball battle. The night of residence hall rivalry has been a Penn College tradition since 2014.

Wildcat Wars, an early fall tradition at Penn College, returned to UPMC Field, with residence hall teams battling in kickball, dodgeball and tug-of-war.

In the end, the York/Juniata team was victorious, with Dauphin Hall and Clinton/Delaware/Lancaster tied for second. Upperclass students (The Village/Campus View Apartments) were fourth.

“Wildcat Wars is more than fun and games: It is an engaging way for our students to build their own community, show pride and connect with each other in a spirited and respectful competition,” said Kathleen Swank, director of residence life. “This event brings energy to campus that lasts long after the final dodgeball throw or tug-of-war pull. And for this year's champions from York and Juniata, that pride and bragging rights will carry with them all year long.”

The victors! The team representing York and Juniata halls.
