Six physical therapist assistant students inducted into Phi Tau Alpha

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s physical therapy assistant program recently celebrated its newest inductees into the Phi Tau Alpha Honor Society.
The class of 2025 inductees are:
- Sierra E. Biza, of Wyalusing
- Emily N. Dalawy, of McClure
- Nicole R. Lichtinger, of Erie
- Grace K. Lorson, of Williamsport
- Carla Mertz, of Pennsburg
- Ashley N. Rich, of Jersey Shore
The six students are recognized for not only demonstrating high academic standards but embodying the core values of the physical therapy profession. To be eligible for membership in the Phi Tau Alpha Honor Society, students must have a cumulative enrollment GPA of 3.5 in PTA coursework and submit recommendations from two PTA program stakeholders, which can include clinical instructors, faculty, and academic or club advisers.
