Ready to help incoming Wildcats are (from left): students Emily L. Fink, Jade M. Stubblefield, Sierra N. Klinger, Leslie Escamilla-Ambrosio and Chyanna L. Galagarza, and Ashlee C. Felix, assistant director of student engagement.

The Office of Student Engagement held the last of nine successful New Student Orientations on Monday, welcoming incoming Wildcats to campus prior to the start of the Fall 2025 semester.

In total, more than 1,300 students attended the one-day sessions, which provided opportunities to learn important information about the specifics of their academic programs, financial aid and other critical resources. It also gave students the chance to “take care of business” so they are prepared to move in and be successful during Welcome Week – which begins Aug. 13.

Orientation leaders Makayla R. Jones and Jacob A. Martinez lead the way.

The College Store is among stops for many families looking to "take care of business" during New Student Orientation.
