Moda Miami, a premier car event, is featuring Pennsylvania College of Technology’s automotive restoration program on its website.
The “Partner Spotlight” includes photos and a Q&A with Penn College instructor Roy H. Klinger, regarding the certificate program and the students’ dedication to assisting the past two years at Moda Miami, held on the grounds of the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.
Penn College's automotive restoration major is featured on the website of Moda Miami, a premier classic car event where students have provided assistance.
“Our students assist with vehicle staging, load-in and load-out, and even preservation-sensitive detailing and display setup,” Klinger tells the website's readers.
Conducted by RM Sotheby’s, the global leader in collector car auctions, Moda Miami attracts luxury brand enthusiasts, collectors and industry professionals from across the world.
This spring’s Moda Miami proved to be extra special for Penn College students. In addition to working the event, their restoration of a 1948 Tucker resulted in the Best in Class Award for the American Dream Collection.
The Moda Miami website thanks Penn College for its “continued partnership and dedication to preserving automotive history” and notes that the students “bring skill, professionalism, and passion to every corner of our event.”
