
The Penn College crew of 27 students and two faculty members enjoy a photo op on a recent outing to Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co.’s Ebensburg rebuild facility.
Among the many end-of-academic-year field trips enjoyed by Penn College students, a group of diesel and electric power generation students visited Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co.’s Ebensburg rebuild facility. The facility remanufactures large Caterpillar gas compression engines used in petroleum, natural gas and energy industries. The state-of-the-art 65,000-square-foot facility is equipped with powerful cranes and advanced testing capabilities.
The 27 Penn College students were accompanied on their excursion by two faculty members: Jeremy Fry and Drew T. Smith
Penn College offers Associate of Applied Science degrees in diesel technology; electric power generation technology: diesel emphasis; heavy construction equipment technology: Caterpillar equipment emphasis; and heavy construction equipment technology: technician emphasis.
