Dining Services partnered with Penn College resident assistants to host a Tasting Showcase in the Keystone Dining Room atrium on March 5. Dining Services cooks prepared several items focused on plant-based food options and Pennsylvania-sourced ingredients. Participants were asked to complete a survey to indicate what items they may be interested in seeing on college menus. In addition to the tasting, Dining Services prepared a tower showing how many take-out containers are used weekly in Penn College dining units, encouraging students to help reduce Dining Services’ carbon footprint.
