Jan. 5 memorial service to honor 'Master Teacher' Ronald L. Rock

A memorial service will be Friday, Jan. 5, for Ronald L. Rock, the 1993 recipient of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Master Teacher Award, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, at age 87.

Rock joined the Williamsport Area Community College faculty in the Fall 1971 semester and retired from Penn College as a professor of business administration in May 1993. In addition to the Veronica M. Muzic Master Teacher Award, the college's highest faculty honor, he was a 1987 recipient of an Excellence in Teaching Award.

The service will be held (and livestreamed) at 11 a.m. at Bethel Linden Presbyterian Church, 2758 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, followed by a visitation and luncheon.
