The company has supported the college for nearly a decade. That backing is reflected in its inclusion in the Millionaire’s Society category on the college’s Donor Wall and its participation as a Corporate Tomorrow Maker.
“As a Penn College Corporate Tomorrow Maker, Miller is pleased to expand this partnership with the college,” said Dave Lambert, group president, ITW welding. “The graduates from the welding programs help serve the workforce needs of Miller and our customers. This is one of the many ways that Miller invests in education and the welding industry.”
“We once again thank Miller for the commitment they have demonstrated to our Tomorrow Makers,” said Penn College President Michael J. Reed. “The relationship with Miller has served our welding and metal fabrication students in a variety of ways, and this renewal will continue to help those students gain the valuable experience they need to become community and workforce leaders.”
“Miller Electric is a valued partner that continues to exemplify a corporate partnership with the hands-on technology education of Penn College,” said Loni N. Kline, senior vice president for college relations. “The renewal of this entrustment will help Penn College students continue to grow their technical expertise in welding – and in using Miller technology. We are grateful for what this renewal will offer our welding students.”
