June service set for former Penn College Foundation board member

A June celebration-of-life service is scheduled for James W. Bower Sr., a former member of the Penn College Foundation Board of Directors, who died April 22 at his Trout Run home at the age of 84.

The event will be at 2 p.m. June 24 at the River Valley Regional YMCA Williamsport Branch, 641 Walnut St., Williamsport. Arrangements are being handled by the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, which has posted an obituary – fully detailing Bower's longtime community involvement – at its website.
